Grow Vocal Techniques

VOICE BUILDING: develop improved vocal technique in the areas of breathing, alignment, production, tone, resonance, flexibility, and range.

MUSICIANSHIP: activities in music reading and writing, ear training, improvisation, and score reading for the choral singer

VOCAL REPERTOIRE: use vocal technique and score reading to learn pieces of different musical styles and from various time periods with a focus on artistry and expressive elements

PERFORMANCES: sing in many venues around the Miami Valley, the state of Ohio, and throughout the United States

Represent the Miami Valley regionally and internationally, gaining experience through performance in ensemble choral singing at the highest artistic level.

The Kettering Children’s Choir is a choral organization dedicated to educating talented, young singers, ages 8–18. Based in the Miami Valley, singers build an appreciation for musical excellence through structured musical training, high quality standards of artistic performance, and music appreciation. Rehearsals and performances take place throughout the Miami Valley. Tuition assistance is available to ensure all young singers have the opportunity to grow in vocal technique, build friendships, and experience professional performances.
